With over 20 years of clinical experience, Taya is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) — one of fewer than 10 acupuncturists in New Jersey internationally board certified in reproductive acupuncture.

She earned her Medical degree from the 1st Moscow Medical Academy, her Master's from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montclair, NJ, and completed formal herbal training at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with hospital internships in China and Japan.

Taya is joined by Alexandra Sack, L.Ac, Dipl. O.M, DACM — a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with specialized training in women's reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care.

Can acupuncture help if I've had failed IVF cycles?

Yes. Many patients come to us after one or more unsuccessful IVF cycles, and acupuncture can be a meaningful next step. Does acupuncture hurt?

Most patients are pleasantly surprised by how gentle acupuncture is. The needles are hair-thin — far finer than needles used for injections. You may feel a brief, mild sensation as a needle is inserted, but sessions are generally deeply relaxing. Many patients fall asleep on the table. Our practitioners are experienced at ensuring your comfort throughout every treatment.

Is acupuncture safe during fertility treatments?

Yes. Acupuncture is extremely safe when performed by a licensed, certified practitioner — and it is widely accepted as a complementary approach to fertility care.
